Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Christ College is a highly professional two year post-graduate course approved by AICTE. The college offers specialisation in Financial Management, Marketing management and Human Resources Management .


Candidate who has secured at least 50% marks in their Bachelor Degree examination from Bangalore University or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto is eligible to apply.


Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a post-graduate programme affiliated to Bangalore University introduced in 1994 at Christ College. It has the approval of AICTE and is a three-year programme spaced out into six semesters. An exclusive and well-equipped laboratory for the department with a network of the latest microprocessor-based computers and softwares installed, provide hands-on training in various aspects of computers and their applications.


A graduate with a three-year Bachelor Degree of Bangalore University or any other university recognised as equivalent thereto, is eligible for admission, provided she/he has:
i)  secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in all subjects including languages,
ii) studied Mathematics as a main subject for two years at the PUC/HSC level (XI and XII standards).


Twinning is an innovative educational concept which widens the scope of educational opportunity and access for students to study abroad by allowing them to complete the first two years of their foreign degree programes at a local college such as Christ College, Bangalore in India. They then proceed to complete the remaining years of their studies at the affiliated foreign University


Christ College has entered into an agreement with the Western Michigan University Kalamazoo, U.S.A by offering two degree courses:

B.S     Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
B.B.A  Bachelor Degree in Business Management

Both the courses are of 8 Semesters out of which 4 Semesters will be in Christ College and the remaining four in WMU. The programme offers an excellent opportunity for the students to get exposed to the up-to-date knowledge in the fields of Business Management and Computer Science. Besides cutting down the cost of this specialized study progrmme by almost half, it throws open the frontiers of employment worldwide, if the student makes the full use of the opportunities given to him/her.


The fees at Christ College:

$ 625 per semester for Indian Students
$ 800 per semester for NRIs and Foreign students of Asian Countries
$ 1125 Per semester for NRIs and foreign students from Europe & U.S.A
At WMU the fees will be $ 15000 per year, which includes boarding and lodging.


Master of Tourism Administration (MTA) is a post-graduate programme affiliated to Bangalore University introduced in 1999 at Christ College. It is a two year highly professional master degree programme. The Department offers consultancy services and arranges joint programmes with prominent institutes.


A candidate who has secured at least 50% marks in any Bachelor Degree Examination from Bangalore University or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto is eligible to apply.


The Management of Christ College was quick to equip the department with adequate infrastructural facilities as this is necessary for imparting practical knowledge in acquiring professional skills. Training facilities include the Individual Kitchen, Quantity Kitchen, Bakery, Training Restaurant, house Keeping and Laundry Department.

The Department of Hotel Management lays great importance to on-the-job training with reputed hotels in order to gain first hand knowledge of actual operations. This is made compulsory, and the students are sent on a continuous 4-5 months of work in hotels both in Bangalore and outside. Besides, the students get ample opportunity to develop their overall personality much needed for this industry, by taking part in extra-curricular activities associated with the Hotel Management Association.

The first year of study deals with a number of related subjects such as Hotel Economics, Business Law, Hotel Engineering, Accounting, French and introducing the hotelier concept.

In the second year emphasis is laid on the core subjects like Front Office Management, Food and Beverage, Production and Service and Projects related to various aspects of Hotel and Catering operations.

In the third year the student is given a wider focus on operational aspects of Food and Beverage, Accommodations and Management Practices.


A candidate who has passed in two year PU or equivalent course in any discipline is eligible for BBM (Bachelor of Business Management) and BHM


The selection of the candidate is based on her/his performance in the qualifying examination. Written test, group discussion and personal interview.
