Since 1995 the Government of Maharashtra devised a Centralized admission procedure for admissions to MBA /MMS institutions in Maharashtra and decided to conduct a Common Entrance Test (CET) at state level. The eligibility conditions for taking admission is graduation from any stream with minimum 50% marks. The candidates have to clear CET following which, they are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview in order of merit . The students are also awarded some marks on their past academic record and work experience . The final Selection is, thus, made strictly on merit basis. Students are offered seats in the institutes of their choice subject to availability.
