b) TRANSLATORS: Translators change the script written in
one language to another.

Tourism industry, Mass Communication, Embassy and Diplomatic services,
Public Relations Assignments.
UNO also appoints Interpreters and Translators in Six official
languages for which an Entrance Exam is conducted.
Translators are employed by Industries, government departments,
international organisatons and research organisations.
Language Teaching is also an area where language specialists can
find a good job opportunity.
Language specialists can also work as free lancers.
REMUNERATION
Language specialist can start with Rs5000
School Teachers can expect to get anything between Rs 5000-Rs10000
Freelancers receive Rs100-Rs150 for per page of foreign Language.

1) A 3year Bachelors degree course in foreign language.
2) A 5year Integrated Masters course in foreign language.
3) Various Diploma/Certificate courses.
