Eligibility Age Not above 21 years on July 15 of the year of admission.

Academic qualification Higher Secondary (10+2) exam of the State with Maths, Phy, Chem of equivalent exam with the prescribed percentage of marks (60%-70%) in one attempt from any institution located in Tamilnadu, Pondicherry, Mahe and yanam.

Application Procedure Application form together with prospectus can be had from the Dean (Academic). REC Tiruchirapalli 620015 on requisition sent with a crossed Bank Draft for Rs. 450 (Rs. 150 for SC/ST) payable at Tiruchirapalli.

Selection for 50% quota is done at the State level through entrance exam. Candidates have to appear in an aptitude test for B Arch course. The Director of Technical Education finalises the admission. (Refer common details under "Tamilnadu"). Candidates seeking admission under other States quota should apply directly to their home State REC.

Fees Tuition fee Rs. 4000 pa.

Hostels There are 11 hostels. Residence not compulsory. Room rent varies between Rs. 120 and Rs. 150 pa. Boarding charges are approximately Rs. 700 pm

Scholarships Besides Govt. of India/State Govt. scholarships 25% of students get
Merit-cum-means scholarships plus exemption from tuition fee.

General An Engineering Constancy Centre has been established making it possible for the Faculty and senior students of the college to be engaged in the design, research and development work related to the problems in industry. Advanced facilities have also been created for Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing, Miscellaneous.
