College Newsletter - Vartha Vahini The Newsletter is the medium of in-house communication for the college. "Vartha Vahini" carries information about the happenings like functions, competitions, seminars and other events conducted by various departments in the college. Dr. H.Narasimaiah, Chairman, Board of Management, BMSCE, inaugurated the first issue of Newsletter on 01-01-2000. Prof.K.R.Mohan is the Editor-in-Chief of the Newsletter. The second issue of the Newsletter was inaugurated on 01-07-2000. Administrative Block: Consists of two floors and houses all the offices and also houses Principals room (both day and evening college), ICD, PG section. Has an Auditorium in the ground floor and the main library in the first floor. Consists of four storeys having 12 classrooms of Dimensions 40’x 28’ and houses 27 staff rooms plus 3 Professor’s rooms. Consists of 2 floors consisting of laboratories, Professors’ rooms, Mechanical R&D, Hydraulics and Flow laboratory, Computer laboratory for the II and I semesters. The building houses Mech. Engg, IEM, Manf. Engg, Architecture departments. In addition it also houses well equipped Machine shop, ICE Lab, IEM Lab, Fine Measurements Lab, Material Testing Lab, Production Lab, , Chemical Engg Lab, CAD/CAM Lab, well laid Drawing halls and Architecture Studios. The building houses Laboratories of Electrical Engg., Instrumentation Tech., Civil Engg., along with classrooms both for Undergraduate and MBA courses. International Hostel Building: houses 150 students mainly the foreign students. Multipurpose Hall: A multipurpose hall of 100’x43’ is housed adjacent to the dinning block. Small functions and entertainment programmes can be conducted in this.
