The Location
The
Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has been approved by the Indian,
Federal and State Governments as well as the National educational body
- the All India Council for Technical Education, and is affiliated to
Visveswaraiah Technological University. The institution is situated in
the heart of "Garden City of Silicon Valley of India" at Bangalore
(12 57 N, 77 38 E, 920m altitude), one of the most important cities of
India which has been the nerve centre for Information Technology, Aerospace
Technology, many electronic industries of international repute and many
defence establishments. The city of Bangalore, blessed with a salubrious
weather is well connected with all prinicipal cities of India by road,
rail and air.
