Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering was established in the year 1993 by the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Education, Science and Technological Research Trust (JNESTR) under the leadership of Hon.Shri V.M.Jadhav Ex M.P.(Rajya Sabha). The college is situated at Kopar khairne , Navi Mumbai - 400 709 and is a few kilometer away form Vashi Railway Station, APMC Market and Vashi Bus Depot.
