Examination System                                                                  TOP    

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra conducts final semester examination for each semester and the college conducts two Sessional examinations for the internal assessment. Regarding the examinations and assessments, the policies of the institute comply with the rules and regulations of the University.

 EXAMINATION & EVALUATION

 There shall be two sessional exam in each semester for every subject, out of which the best one would be considered for final computation of sessional marks.

  • The distribution of marks for internal assessment in each semester will be as follows, 40% for written sessional tests, 20% for tutorials, and 40% for class tests, general conduct, discipline and attendance.
  • The appear in the University exam each student must secure at least 50% marks in each sessional subject in respective semester failing which he/she shall be debarred from appearing in the University examinations.
  • If any student is found using unfair means in written internal test, his/her answer book and relevant matters shall be seized and the student shall be required to leave the examination hall immediately. He/She shall be awarded zero in the respective paper. No representation in this respect shall be entertained.

ATTENDANCE

  • Each and every student is required to attend all the lectures, tutorials, practicals and other prescribed curricular and extra curricular activities.
  • No student shall be allowed to appear in the semester final examinations if he/she does not fulfill 45% attendance norm as per the University ordinances.
  • The attendance shall be counted from the day the classes commence in the college for the purpose of appearing in the semester examinations.
  • That they keep themselves informed regarding percentage of their attendance. They must be aware of the fact that if their attendance falls below 75%, they shall be not be allowed to appear in the university examination. The Director reserves the right to condone some attendance under special circumstances.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

  • The Admission to the Institute are made as per the regulations of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Arga. In accordance with the orders of the U.P. Government.
  • The Admission to these courses are to be made on the basis of entrance test to be conducted by the University.
  • 50% of the total intake will be free seats, 35% seats shall be payment seats and remaining 15% seats are reserved for NRI or their sponsored candidates.

 

IDENTITY CARD

  • In order to enjoy the status and privilege of a bonafide student of the college, each student must obtain an identity card from the Institute at the time of registration or later as per notification.
  • Identity card is valid for one academic year.
  • A duplicate card in the event of loss of original card shall be issued by the college authorities on depositing a fee of Rs. 30/-.

 

DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED WITH THE APPLICATION FORM

  • Letter of Admission issued by Admission Committee, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra.
  • Admission fees in cash or by bank draft drawn in favour of Institute of Information Science & Technology, Modinagar.
  • Hostel Fee, if the student seeks admission in hostel and also the mess, hostel and mess securities by the demand draft/cash.
  • All certificates in Original as well as attested copies of each certificate.
  • Transfer certificate and character certificate from the institution last attended.
  • Migration certificate from the University/Board whichever is required.
  • Five recent passport Size photographs.
