The Cell's under the Placement Desk include:
- Career Generator Cell- This cell works with the students and helps them start of as an Entrepreneur individually or a group by providing resources, leads for projects and fine tune them regarding the systems and processing of the IT industry.
- Complete Professional Cell- Every student of IIST, Modinagar is critically analyzed by this cell from the industry requirement point of view and and shortcomings in the students are done away with.
- Resource Locator Cell- This cell interacts with various companies with a view to providing the right industrial training to the student based upon their skill sets.
- Overseas Placement Cell - Activated to carry out confirmed placements in Japan, Other destinations too are being explored.
- Domestic Placement Cell- Provides 'THE RIGHT JOB TO THE STUDENTS' on completion of their course and training period.
