Campus InfraStructure
The Institute is being developed on a campus of 80 acres or more at Allahabad in the State of Uttar Pradesh. While its permanent campus is under development, it is temporarily located in Allahabad University. Hostel facility are available for all the students admitted to the programme. Allahabad lies at the Centre of the vast Hindi speaking heartland of India and has been a traditional Centre of learning. The University of Allahabad in more than a century old and has been fortunate to have eminent scientists like Meghnad Saha. KS Krishna, NR Dhar, ks Singhwi and other alumni as its faculty members who have contributed most prominently to scientific research.
Allahabad has a Regional Engineering College which is one of the oldest
in the country. The JK Institute of Applied Physics and Technology was
established about 50 years ago, and is imparting undergraduate and postgraduate
teaching in Electronics, Communication and Computer Sciences. A premier
Centre. The Research Institute of Math's and Mathernatical Physics is
also situated in Allahabad.
