On the basis of Written Test, which will be held on May 6, 1998, the result of the short listed candidates will be announced in Indian Express (All Editions) of May 21, 1998. These candidates will be required to appear in Group Discussion and interview on June 16-18 1998 at Roorkee. Registered letters will also inform these candidates. At the time of interview and group discussion, the candidates must bring with them in original along with one attested copy of the following:
a. Category Certificate in the proforma given in Annexure-I or Annexure-II if they belong to SC/ST or OBC Category.
b. Date of Birth Certificate
c. Mark sheets of Bachelors Degree Examinations (Ist year, II year, 3rd year and final year as the case may be,) if Available.

The weight age of written test, Group Discussion and interview will be as follows:
Written test 85%
Group Discussion 15%
Interview and Work Experience

Based on the three components of the admission test, viz., Written Test, Group Discussion and interview, final merit list will be prepared and provisional admission to the MBA Programme will be offered.

The successful and wait listed candidates will be required to deposit on June 18, 1998 a sum of Rs. 5000/- in cash or through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Roorkee, payable at Rookee. This amount will not be refunded if the candidate decides not to peruse admission to MBA Programme.

The admissions are open only to Indian nationals irrespective of sex, race, creed and class. However, the foreign nationals will be eligible for admission.

There is no age restriction for appearing in the test seeking admission to the MBA Programme.

The minimum educational qualification for admission to MBA programme is having passed a Bachelor's degree from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission, obtaining a minimum of 60 percent marks for unreserved and OBC categories and a minimum o 55 percent marks for SC/ST category (or equivalent in terms of CGPA grade). Final year students can also apply for admission to the MBA Programme. However, they will be required to produce proof of group Discussion/interview/Registration as may be required by the university by the University. No Relaxation, whatsoever, will be possible on this account.

The candidate is entirely responsible to provide his/her eligibility for admission to MBA Programme.
