FIELD WORK, INSTITUTIONAL EXPOSURE AND PLACEMENT:

1) During the first three semesters students go in small groups to a rural camp of 10 days, under supervision of a faculty member. The Camp of the fourth Semester is replaced by Summer Placement o 4 to 6 weeks in a rural development organization. This takes place during the summer vacation following the second Semester.

2) Besides these camps, students spend every second Saturday of a Semester in visiting a rural or semi-urban Panchayat in the neighborhood of the Institute. They may be associated with the works of NGOs or Community organizations in the area. The other Saturday morning is devoted to Seminars.
