The College and the Post-Graduate Courses it conducts is recognised by the Medical Council of India, General Medical Council (U.K), Sri Lanka Medical Council and the W.H.O. Apart from the M.B.B.S and Post-graduate courses, the college proposes to start Diploma courses in DPH, DCP, DGO, DCH, D.Ortho and D.A. Post- Graduate courses in E.N.T, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Psychiatry and Forensic medicine very shortly. It has a good library with latest domestic and foreign journals required for studies and research in medical sciences. The college is also a centre of academic activities, in an around the Mysore city for academic conferences, seminars etc. Separate hostel facilities for girls and boys are located within the college campus.
