  Application for Admission
Application for admission shall be made to the Registrar, UAS, GKVK, Bangalore-560 065 on a prescribed form which may be obtained from his Office as per the Notification issued.

Candidates belonging to foreign countries shall send their application through the Educational Consultants India Limited (Government of India Enterprise). Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)/Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), the Headquarters of which are located in New Delhi and the addresses are given below:
  • The Deputy Manager (Secondment), Educational Consultant India Ltd. (A Government of India Enterprise),    A- 1/111, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi.
  • The Assistant Director General (HSC), the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Krishi Anusandhan     Bhabvan, PUSA, New Delhi-110 012.

Senior Programme Director, Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Azad Bhavan, Indraprastha Estate, New Delhi-110 002.

Candidates from State other than Karnataka need to apply only for such of the Undergraduate Courses which are not being offered in their respective States through their respective States through their respective State Governments. The application of candidates sponsored by the respective State Governments routed through ICAR only will be considered against the quota reserved by the government of India (ICAR) to the respective States.

Fees
All the foreign students other than those sponsored by the Government of Inida with suitable fellowships such as Colombo Plan. ITEC Progamme, General Cultural Scholarship and Cultural Technical Exchange will be charged Institutional Economic Fee at the rate of US $4000 per annum per student. The fee will be over and above other usual charges. In addition to the institutional economic fee, the foreign nationals, admitted to the University should pay the following fee in terms of Indian currency as of Indian students:

First Semester                                             Rs.2,100
Second Semester                                         Rs.1,300
Third Semester and onwards                           Rs.1,125

Fees once paid by the student shall not be refunded. Caution deposit of Rs.500 would be returned. The fee structure is subject to change.

Postgraduate Education Programme
The University has a strong postgraduate programme covering 45 disciplines at Master's level and 32 disciplines at Ph.D. level. Generally, a maximum of 10 students for a Master's degree and 5 students for Ph.D. degree programme would be admitted.
