Services Hostel Facilities
All
the teaching campuses are equipped with necessary boarding and lodging
facilities with a view to help non-resident students (both boys and
girls) At Bangalore campus, there are three Undergraduate Hostels for
Agricultural Veterinary and Dairy Science students which can accommodate
nearly 850 students. Besides, there are hostels exclusively for girls
and postgraduate students. Outside the campus accommodation is available
at the rate of Rs. 300 per month for single bed apartment.
Hostel accommodation will be provided to the extent available on the
Campuses.
Health Care
Dispensary
services are available in the Campus during the office hours (8.45 to
4.00 pm) to deal with general and urgent cases without appointments.
Medical Examination
- The
students after seeking admission for Postgraduate Degree Programme
at the UAS, Bangalore should produce a Certificate within a month
to the effect that the student is free from Hepatitis-B, AIDS, and
other communicable diseases and is medically fit to continue Postgraduate
studies in the University of Agricultural Sciences Bangalore.
Every student admitted to the College shall be required to undergo
medical examination; once in very year in accordance with the direction
issued by the University.
Student Clubs
Much of the UNIVERSITY"S Social life is centred around Student
Clubs which support Co-curricular activities. Student clubs have been
formed in following activities: Drama, Music and Dance, Fine Arts, Adventure,
Science, Literary Activities, Social Service and Agricultural Science.
